Iseo (Brescia – Italy), 19\/09\/2025 – OMFB S.p.A. Hydraulic Components and the IIS Antonietti high school in Iseo consolidate a twenty-year partnership with a new ambitious project that has led to the creation of a modern Mechatronics Laboratory. A training space dedicated to both practical and theoretical learning, further strengthening the connection between school and business with the goal of preparing new generations for the technological challenges of the future workplace. <\/strong><\/p>

The close collaboration between OMFB and the institute has been ongoing since 2000. Over the past 25 years, the company based in Provaglio d\u2019Iseo has welcomed hundreds of Antonietti students through visits and school-to-work training programs, many of which turned into real employment opportunities after graduation. Year after year, young talents have joined OMFB\u2019s more than 500 employees in the group\u2019s production and commercial departments, many of whom are former students of the IIS Antonietti. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

A state-of-the-art Mechatronics Laboratory<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The project was born from the meeting between OMFB\u2019s ownership and management and the leadership of IIS Antonietti, with the shared goal of further strengthening the link between technical-vocational education and the business world in the local area.<\/p>

This objective materialized in just a few months with the design and construction of the new Mechatronics Laboratory, giving the institute a space for adopting an applied and realistic teaching methodology, able to directly meet the needs expressed by businesses. A fully equipped classroom where students of the \u201cIPSMAT – Maintenance and Technical Assistance\u201d program can acquire broad knowledge and skills in the design, construction, maintenance, and automation of mechatronic systems. Both theoretical and practical skills that are essential for tackling future professional challenges. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

OMFB directly contributed to the setup of the new laboratory by providing resources, expertise, and technical consultancy to equip the space with: a machining center and an Educational Mekhan CNC lathe for prototype production, CAD\/CAM software for design and programming, six fully equipped workbenches for assembly, and measuring tools and equipment to ensure maximum precision.<\/p>

Thanks to this joint initiative with the institute, every student will have the opportunity to work at individual or group stations, in realistic, safe, and sustainable learning environments that reflect the real conditions of the corporate production world.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
