Rob Taranto appointed new Managing Director of OMFB Pacific

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Rob Taranto as the new Managing Director of OMFB Pacific, our Australian subsidiary.

Founded in 2019 as part of the Group’s internationalization strategy, OMFB Pacific Pty Ltd, headquartered in Tullamarine (Melbourne), was the second of 8 foreign subsidiaries opened by OMFB and today serves as a strategic hub for business development in Australia and New Zealand.

Rob Taranto brings over 25 years of industry experience, having held roles of increasing responsibility in multinational companies and gaining solid expertise in managing complex business units. A graduate in Mechanical Engineering from RMIT University in Melbourne, he holds a specialization in fluid dynamics and thermodynamics, which complements his high-level technical and international managerial profile.

We are pleased to welcome Rob Taranto to the OMFB Group,” said Amedeo Bianchi, the Group’s CEO. “His leadership and expertise will be fundamental to further strengthening OMFB Pacific’s presence and developing new business opportunities in a high-potential region.

“It is a privilege to take the helm of OMFB Pacific, and I thank the management for the trust they have placed in me,” stated Rob Taranto. “I am proud to join a business that has been investing globally in innovation, quality, and people for over 75 years. I’m looking forward to building on the solid foundations established by the team at OMFB Pacific using the corporate strength of the global business and tailoring it to service the unique Oceania market.”

Taranto’s appointment represents a further step in the OMFB Group’s consolidation in Oceania, establishing it as a leader in hydraulic system supply in the sectors where the company’s four divisions operate: transport and industrial vehicles, mobile machinery, tanks, and sensors.

A warm welcome to Rob and best wishes for success from the entire OMFB team.
